Meet Julie Artinian Callaway

At the heart of Julie’s work as a contributor to Gentle Spirit Connection, is an understanding of the autonomic nervous system—the system that unconsciously governs stress, safety, digestion, heart rate, and emotional regulation. Many of us live in a chronic state of sympathetic activation (fight-or-flight), which can lead to anxiety, burnout, tension, and disconnection.

Through sound, somatic awareness, and mindfulness practices, we intentionally support activation of the parasympathetic nervous system—your body’s rest-and-digest state. This is where repair, clarity, emotional processing, and deep restoration occur.

When the nervous system feels safe, transformation becomes possible.

Julie helps individuals reconnect to their bodiesmand return to a grounded, authentic sense of self through vibrational sound bowl therapy, somatic connection practices, mindfulness, and guided meditation.

Therapeutic metal sound bowls are offered on or off the body, creating gentle vibration and resonance designed to support deep relaxation and nervous system restoration.
