FAQs

Is this therapy?

1

We do not provide psychotherapy, EMDR. Many participants continue working with their trauma therapist while engaging in our individual or group services, especially the body-based yoga for PTSD (Post Traumatic Stress Disorder). Our trauma-sensitive offerings are designed to support nervous system regulation and are intended to complement the therapeutic process.

What makes you different?

2

Our work is grounded in research, trauma-informed care, and over 40 years of combined experience supporting individuals healing from stress, burnout, and trauma. We specialize in somatic, body-based practices that support those navigating anxiety, chronic stress, childhood trauma, secondary trauma, and PTSD—helping restore a sense of safety, nervous system regulation, and connection within the body.

What sets us apart is not only what we offer, but how we offer it: with intention, respect for individual agency, and a commitment to creating spaces that feel safe, supportive, and accessible.

We recognize the widespread impact of trauma, with research showing that approximately 61% of individuals experience at least one traumatic event by age 18. This awareness guides our dedication to supporting individuals, organizations, and communities in building sustainable, trauma-informed environments rooted in care and understanding.
