Location
Vibrational Sound Therapy offers a deeply restorative experience designed to support relaxation, nervous system regulation, and reconnection with the body. Using therapeutic metal singing bowls offered either on or off the body, gentle vibrational resonance invites the body into a state of rest while supporting awareness, grounding, and balance.
Each session is thoughtfully guided and adapted to individual comfort and preference. The sound and vibration created by the bowls may support release of physical tension, emotional settling, and a sense of spaciousness within the body and mind.
Sessions may include:
Therapeutic metal singing bowls used on or off the body (your choice)
Guided meditation or grounding practices
Gentle somatic awareness and breath support
Opportunities for quiet rest and integration
No prior experience is needed. Participants remain fully clothed and are invited to rest comfortably throughout the session.
Vibrational Sound Bowl Therapy FAQs — Ann Arbor, MI
-
You'll be invited to lie down or sit comfortably, fully clothed, while therapeutic metal singing bowls are played either on or off your body, based on your preference.
The session may also include guided meditation, somatic awareness, and quiet time to rest and integrate afterward. There's no right or wrong way to experience it, you're simply invited to receive.
-
Not at all. These sessions are welcoming to complete beginners as well as those with more experience. Julie will guide you through what to expect, and the session is adapted to your comfort level throughout.
-
That's completely your choice. Bowls can be placed on or near the body, and your comfort and preferences are discussed and respected before the session begins. You're always in control of what feels right for you.
-
Vibrational Sound Therapy is a complementary wellness practice, not a substitute for clinical mental health treatment. Sessions are trauma-informed and designed to support relaxation and nervous system regulation, but they are not a replacement for therapy with a licensed clinician.
-
A 50-minute session is $100. Optional add-ons — guided mindful meditation, BioMat integration, and somatic awareness/breath support — are each an additional $10 and can be combined based on what feels supportive for you that day.
-
This work often supports people navigating stress or nervous system overwhelm, compassion fatigue or burnout, sleep challenges, chronic tension, or emotional fatigue during life transitions. That said, anyone looking for a restorative, grounding experience is welcome.
-
This varies by person. Some clients find a single session deeply restorative on its own, while others choose to return regularly as part of an ongoing self-care or nervous system regulation practice. There's no set requirement — it's entirely based on what feels supportive to you.
Reconnect with your body and mind as you escape the noise of everyday life.

+ Somatic Awareness & Breath Support

$10
+ Guided Mindful Meditation
Guided mindful meditation involves being led through present-moment awareness practices — such as breath focus, body scanning, or gentle visualization — to help quiet the mind and settle the nervous system. When added to your sound bowl session, it deepens relaxation and supports a more grounded, integrated experience.
$10
+ BioMat Integration
The BioMat is an FDA-cleared therapeutic mat that combines far-infrared heat, amethyst crystals, and negative ion technology to deliver deep, penetrating warmth that supports muscle relaxation, circulation, and nervous system calming. When added to a session, it works alongside the sound bowls to deepen physical relaxation and enhance the overall sense of rest.
